Is anything uploaded?
No. The decoder (heic2any) runs inside this page; there is no upload API.
Can I convert several photos?
Yes, pick multiple files; each becomes a JPG download. Large 12MP photos can take a few seconds each.
Is EXIF/location kept?
No. The JPG output does not carry the original EXIF metadata (including GPS).
Some HEIC files fail?
Live Photo video and some unusual encodings may fail. On iPhone choose Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible, or export as JPEG.
