What does quality mean?
JPEG/WebP encoding quality. 75–85 is fine for web; use 90+ when detail matters. PNG is lossless — the slider does not apply.
Target KB?
We binary-search quality on lossy formats to approach your target. Tiny originals or PNG have limits.
Are my files stored on a server?
No. Images are processed with Canvas in this browser; there is no upload request at all. Closing the tab clears memory.
Can I process several images at once?
